What You Need To Know Before Your Next Launch:

Using Human Design to create aligned offers in your unique way.

My brain would not behave this morning and after waking at stupid-o-clock, I decided to just get up and get all the ideas out of my overactive mind. At 4.30am. Trust me when I say there has been coffee.

So what was doing circle work in my head? A new offer.

Here’s what you need to know before you launch your next big (or little) ‘thing’.

(This relates to Human Design, and if you don’t know yours yet, you can look it up here. Human Design is an incredibly practical, sensitive and personalised tool to help you to thrive on your terms, in business and life).

But first, let me share a tale that might help.

Last year I was in a minimind. I worked through some really valuable information helping me to connect with my secret sauce and mapped out a new offer. It made ALL the sense in the world. It was a culmination of everything I’ve offered over the past (almost) 10 years of coaching.

But here’s the clanger- it did not excite me whatsoever. I couldn’t work out why. Surely I just had to find another angle. It made SO much sense. I shared it with the group – they said it rocked (actually it was more like: this is so needed in the world).

I couldn’t work out if I were nervous about how big it potentially was; was scared to fail (the 3 line in my ⅓ profile is designed to embrace experiential learning and ‘failure’ to learn the lessons), or something else.

But then I realised that just wasn’t it. This Generator was not going to feel satisfied/lit up/energised by it.

Old me would have pushed through because it was such a ‘good idea’ and ‘made so much sense’.

Human Design-me knows that trying to force a square peg into a round hole does not create a diamond. No siree.

What it will give me is frustration.

Then, the other day I was on Insta. I had a big gut response to offering a program on Human Design for coaches. On paper, it makes less sense than the original concept. But what do you know? I couldn’t help myself- I had to take action, writing my ideas out; topics; dates, you name it.

My mind would like more certainty- it asks me all the questions it figures I should work out. It taunts me with- well, shouldn’t you broaden the audience to capture more people? Are you good enough to do that? What if it doesn’t work out?

And that’s when I thought- enough already. This was a strong gut response. There is no ‘justifying’ it- as Erin Claire Jones says, a gut yes doesn’t come with a reason (that’s the mind chiming in). And what I know for sure is that the only way to run your business is in the way that’s right for you, gurus be damned.

It might soar. It might flop. And I’m getting better at not attaching to either because whichever way, I learn, and that’s the point with a 1/3 profile.

  • What is your gut giving you a visceral response to? Maybe it feels expansive, like a fire in your belly, or you physically feel energised? Maybe you get a YES feeling.
  • What is showing up in your world and stopping you in your tracks because that’s ‘the thing’?
  • Notice if your ideas are driven by your mind trying to work out the next great offer or justifying your gut response. When you trust your gut fully, you might end up in unexpected places that you could never have imagined with your mind.
  • Where do you feel incredibly recognised and invited to share your insights already? Is your launch related to this group?
  • What kind of format feels good to you? 1:1 coaching; mastermind; something else?
  • Will it feel like your version of success?
  • Do you have the energy for it and/or do you need any support?
  • What creative urge keeps coming up that wants to be brought to light?
  • What do you feel almost compelled to launch?
  • What offer would just come together in a heartbeat and feel so good to create?
  • What help do you need to handover some of the nitty gritty (eg automations or tech stuff)?
  • Will running this feel like peace to you?
  • What idea have you been percolating on and now know it’s something you want to action?
  • What would give you a feeling of absolute surprise and delight, even if it seems left field?
  • What environment would feel the best to run this?
  • What places can you work from to amplify the energy of that space while you map everything out?

It’s also incredibly important to follow your Inner Authority– that’s your go-to for making decisions that take you down the right path for YOU. Rather than down a dodgy street that leaves you with regret the minute you put it out there.

For instance, maybe you have a gut response because you’re a Manifesting Generator or Generator, but you’re designed to wait for clarity rather than going boots and all into a decision straight off the bat.

There is so much more to all of this (profile lines, undefined centres, defined centres, channels, incarnation cross), but these questions will help to clarify your offer.

(Extra fun fact- the Sun is currently transiting Gate 17 – the gate of solutions and opinions. It’s an active mind energy, sitting within the mind/ajna. Whether or not you have this gate defined aka coloured in on your chart , you and your clients, audience etc will feel it. So when this popped up today I was not surprised! Has this happened to you too?)
