Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is nearly here. Let’s face it, love of any kind is lacking somewhere along the line if you don’t love you know who first. (Psst, that’s you!)
The best quality relationships come from knowing and accepting ourselves so that we’re not seeking it out from others. Then you can focus on learning more about where you’re similar and different, whether in a romantic relationship, in parenting or with your team.
So here are some Human Design love notes to float your love boat this week, based on your Human Design Type. Human Design is an incredible tool for self-awareness and self-leadership and helps you to be at your best in all areas of life, including within your business.
If you haven’t checked out your Human Design yet, or need a reminder of your Type, you can look up and download your chart here. While you’re at it, you might find it fun to look up your partner, kids and/or team members!
This Valentine’s Day, see what feels just right for you according to your Human Design Type.
Manifesting Generators (MGs):
Plan yourself the perfect day filled with all the wonderful things you love to do. Yoga? Client calls? Picnic? Hike? Shopping date? Lunch with your hubby or bestie? Plan your day (it can be any day if it doesn’t work for the 14th) and savour every minute. Allow excitement to be your yardstick for the day and do what feels fun and gives you a pep in your step. When you embrace a day filled with satisfaction, your energy will run over, allowing everyone around you to bask in it as well.
Projectors:
Spend some time with the people in your life who really see you for who you are, and cherish all of it. If you haven’t already let it slip that you’re a ‘words of affirmation’ gal, tell your partner, your besties and/or your team and prepare to soak up the love. Ditch the small talk and dive into deep conversations. Take a nap or chill on the couch while someone else takes care of dinner. Or watch a movie or series you’ve been hanging out to watch to wind down before bed.
Manifestors:
Indulge in a day of peace and quiet, whether out in nature, tapping into your creativity while you park any judgment, or taking action on your latest (greatest?!) creative urge. Give your loved one a heads-up about what you’re craving and let him/her know you’re taking the reins. Or if you’re not feeling it, ask them to plan it out this time instead, knowing you don’t always have to be the initiator and sometimes that feels so good. Let your team know you’re offline for the day and soak up the tranquillity, recharging and embracing the kind of spontaneity that feels good.
Reflectors:
Create a day of surprise and delight. What if there were no rules and you could just go with the flow, weaving your way to the next thing that brings you joy? Whether heading to your favourite cafe, going live in your community to share your reflections and see where it goes, or asking a partner or bestie to plan a night out and surprise you! Allow yourself to bask in all the good vibes by doing what feels most like you while shedding any expectations of what you ‘should’ do. You might even like to head to your favourite homewares store to get an extra special something for your office or home to make it feel even better.
Generators:
Think about what you really need right now- to do less or do more of what feels good to you. Because sometimes adding in even more things is not what you need. Maybe a day at the beach with a new novel you’ve heard rave reviews about. It could be dinner with the girls while hubby holds the fort at home so you can finally catch up uninterrupted. It might be dinner for two with your partner at the restaurant you both adore that feels heavenly. Or trying out a new hobby you’ve been meaning to get around to that feels exciting! Tango anyone? A day that feels exciting and revitalising is just what you need to spark that energy and share it with love to those around you.
Connection Charts:
My hubby and I have so many similarities in our charts. We’re both sacral Types (I’m a Generator and he’s an MG). We both:
- Have a 1/3 profile;
- Share 3 defined centres and both have 4 defined centres overall
- Have an undefined ego and root centre and share two of the same fear gates
But I have a defined Spleen and am naturally intuitive, while he has a defined emotional centre (solar plexus). As a result, he’s here to wait for clarity with his decisions while I trust my gut in the moment.
When our charts are overlaid, one of the channels we create together is the electromagnetic channel 35/36 of Transitoriness (I have the 35 and he has the 36). We love to adventure together, whether to a new restaurant, hiking destination or immersing ourselves in a new travel experience while doing our best to release any expectations.

What are you going to try? Prepare to feel recharged and have a pep in your step afterwards!
